DSW manufactures a wide range of high-quality steel gas cylinders designed for industrial and oxygen applications, all tested for safety and reliability.
Our cylinders are engineered using advanced design calculations, finite element analysis, and strict quality control processes to ensure durability, safety, and compliance with international standards.
1. Design and Analysis
DSW gas cylinders are designed using precise calculation formulas and validated with finite element analysis (FEA). Strain gauge measurements and experiments ensure structural integrity and safety.
2. Material Selection
We carefully select carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys, and fiber materials based on chemical, physical, and mechanical properties, including stress corrosion resistance. Learn more about our testing and design methods in the Technical Center.
3. Fracture Mechanics & Safety Testing
Fracture mechanics analysis allows us to define maximum defect size, set NDT limits, guarantee fatigue life, and ensure leak prevention before cylinder burst.
4. Surface Protection
Cylinders are protected based on environmental conditions and potential corrosive substances.

6. Inspection & Quality Assurance
All welding seams undergo 100% RT and PT NDT. Helium mass spectrometer leak detection ensures precision. Inner containers are passivated and cleaned to meet oxygen standards. Perlite insulation and nitrogen purging protect the cylinders from dust and impurities.
