Liquid CO2 Cylinders

Liquid CO2 Bottle

Blunet provides liquid CO₂ cylinders and liquid CO₂ bottles for the safe storage of liquid carbon dioxide at extremely low temperatures.
A liquid cylinder features a vacuum-insulated space between the cold liquid and the vessel walls, minimizing heat transfer and preserving cryogenic liquids.
Blunet dewars and liquid cylinders are available in multiple sizes to suit different capacity requirements.
In addition to liquid CO₂, they are also suitable for storing other cryogenic gases such as liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon.
Blunet serves customers worldwide, including the US, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and the Middle East.

Liquid CO2 Cylinders & CO2 Tanks

Blunet supplies high-quality liquid CO2 cylinders and liquid CO2 bottles designed for the safe storage of liquefied carbon dioxide.
These products are ideal for industrial and commercial applications where reliability and safety are essential.
Each dewar CO2 tank is manufactured in accordance with ASME and DOT standards and features advanced vacuum insulation to maintain stable cryogenic temperatures.
This design minimizes product loss and ensures consistent delivery of high-purity liquid CO₂.

Inspection Guarantee

All Blunet dewar cylinders undergo strict quality and safety inspections:

  • Welding seams are 100% tested using radiographic (RT) and penetrant (PT) non-destructive testing.
  • High-purity nitrogen (99.999%) is used for strength testing.
  • Helium mass spectrometer leak detection ensures leak-tight performance (precision up to 2×10⁻⁹ Pa·L/s).
  • Inner containers are pickled and cleaned, verified under UV light to remove oil and impurities.
  • Inner and outer containers are assembled within 2.5 hours and filled with nitrogen to maintain cleanliness.
  • Outer surfaces are sandblasted to Sa-2.5 and vacuum cleaned to optimize the interlayer vacuum.
  • High-quality perlite insulation is specially treated before placement in the interlayer.
  • All cylinders undergo gas-tight and pressure tests, followed by rigorous helium leak checks for both internal and outer containers.
  • Pipelines and valves are purged with nitrogen, sealed, and tanks are filled with 0.2 MPa high-purity nitrogen for protection.

Applications

Blunet liquid CO₂ cylinders are widely used across multiple industries where
reliable and controlled carbon dioxide supply is required.

  • Food & Beverage Production:
Used for beverage carbonation, food chilling, and modified atmosphere packaging
to maintain product freshness and quality.
  • Welding & Metal Fabrication:
Provides stable shielding gas for MIG and MAG welding processes, improving weld
    quality and consistency.
  • Aquaculture:
Applied for pH regulation and water treatment to support healthy aquatic
    environments and improve production efficiency.
  • Greenhouse & Agricultural Environments:
Supports CO₂ enrichment to enhance plant growth, photosynthesis, and yield
