BluNet Y-Cylinder is an 880 L large-capacity seamless steel gas cylinder designed for the storage, distribution and transportation of selected industrial, specialty, electronic and refrigerant gases. With a 16.6 MPa working pressure, it provides substantially higher capacity than conventional 40–50 L gas cylinders while allowing the cylinder to be handled as a single unit using suitable lifting equipment.
The Y-Cylinder is available for gases including Cl2, HCl, CO2, N2O, NF3, SF6, CF4, NH3, CH3F, CH2F2, CHF3 and C2F6, subject to gas compatibility, filling requirements, valve configuration and applicable regulations.

Applicable Gases
BluNet Y-Cylinders can be configured for a range of gases, including:
Cl2 · HCl · CO2 · N2O · NF3 · SF6 · CF4 · NH3 · CH3F · CH2F2 (R32) · CHF3 (R23) · C2F6
These gases are used across industrial gas supply, chemical processing, water treatment, semiconductor manufacturing, photovoltaic production, refrigeration and other specialty-gas applications.
Note: Gas compatibility, filling ratio and actual filling quantity must be confirmed for the specific gas, cylinder configuration and applicable regulations.
Y-Cylinder Applications
Electronic and Specialty Gases
Y-Cylinders can be configured for selected electronic gases such as NF3, SF6, CF4, CHF3, CH3F, CH2F2 and C2F6 used in semiconductor, photovoltaic and flat-panel manufacturing.
Industrial and Chemical Gases
Large-capacity cylinders can support the storage and distribution of gases such as CO2, HCl and Cl2, helping reduce the number of individual cylinders required for higher-volume gas consumption.
Refrigerant Gases
Selected refrigerant gases, including R32 and R23, can be supplied in suitable Y-Cylinder configurations according to the required pressure, material, valve and filling specifications.
Construction and Quality Control
The BluNet Y-Cylinder is manufactured from 4130X seamless steel using hot-spinning technology followed by controlled quenching and tempering. Manufacturing and inspection procedures are carried out according to the applicable cylinder specification and order requirements.
Quality control can include material verification, hardness inspection, ultrasonic examination, hydrostatic pressure testing, airtightness testing, final inspection and cylinder marking. Inspection and material documentation can be provided according to the agreed order requirements.
Standards and Export Requirements
The Y-Cylinder can be supplied according to the applicable cylinder and dangerous-goods transportation requirements for the destination market. The required standard, certification, markings and documentation should be confirmed according to the gas, UN number, cylinder configuration and destination country.
For export orders, BluNet can review the technical requirements before production and confirm the applicable documentation package.
Packaging and Shipping
Y-Cylinders can be prepared for export using suitable palletized or container-loading arrangements. Valve protection and securement are used according to the agreed shipping requirements.
Because the cylinder is a large pressure receptacle with an approximate empty weight of 1,118 kg, suitable handling and transportation equipment is required. Shipping requirements also depend on whether the cylinder is transported empty or filled and on the classification of the gas.
