The Application of Nitrogen Gas
Nitrogen gas is used in various applications, including cutting, purging, cooling, freezing, and welding manufacturing.
Used as a purge for stainless steel tube welds and an addition to shielding gases in GMAW (gas-metal arc welding) of austenitic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel.
Used as an assist gas for laser cutting of stainless steel, aluminum, and non-metallic materials

Nitrogen Cylinder Valves
Gas cylinders are equipped with a valve that controls the gas release. A cap, collar, or neck ring protects the valve assembly when the gas isn’t used. When dispensing from a gas cylinder, a pressure regulator assembly controls the gas flow at the desired level.

40 L nitrogen cylinder contains 6m3 with 140 bar pressure; holds 10 m3 under 200 bar.
– Liquid nitrogen comes in various sizes of dewar for convenient access.
– Bulk Supply: Liquid nitrogen can be delivered by cryogenic tankers directly into onsite storage for use in large-volume applications, where it will remain as a cryogenic liquid in a vacuum-insulated vessel, providing several days’ supply that can be utilized on demand either as liquid or gas.
