BUY COMPRESSED ARGON GAS OR LIQUID ARGON (AR) BluNet offer argon gas and liquid argon (Ar) in a variety of purities and concentrations.

Liquid Argon

We also offer a full array of choices for: container sizes, container types, and purity grades – including bulk argon delivery.

Cryogenic liquids are liquefied gases that have a normal boiling point below –130°F (–90°C). Liquid argon has a boiling point of –303°F (–186°C).
The temperature difference between the product and the surrounding environment, even in winter, is substantial.
Keeping this surrounding heat from the product requires special equipment to store and handle cryogenic liquids.
BluNet cryogenic tank trailers deliver bulk liquid argon either to large cryogenic bulk storage vessels or to smaller MicroBulk tanks at customer sites.
For smaller requirements, pre-filled liquid cylinders are a versatile supply option. Argon can be dispensed from liquid cylinders in either gas or liquid phase.

Argon for laboratories up to 99.9999% pure.
Argon for electronics and semiconductors up to 99.9999% pure.
Argon for industrial use, including multi-packs.
Two-component gas mixtures (argon in balance gas).

BluNet offer   argon gas in high-pressure gas cylinders and liquid argon in dewars in a variety of sizes. Argon is used to an inert shield gas to enhance arc stability and characteristics of gas metal arc welding. It is also the primary gas for the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process.

Argon may be referred to as “PLAR” or “CLAR”, or by its chemical designation, Ar”.
Crude argon is usually thought of as an intermediate product in a facility that makes pure argon,
but it may be a final product for some lower capacity air separation plants which ship it to larger facilities for final purification.
Some crude argon is also sold as a final product for uses that do not need high purity oxygen (e.g. some steelmaking and welding applications).
